Old Hickory Golf Course | Saint Charles Wedding Photographer | Kate and Brad

I’m so excited to have Kate and Brad’s wedding on the blog. They are one of the sweetest couples I have gotten to work with. I just loved how Brad talked and spoke of Kate leading up to their wedding as well as at their wedding. He often kept saying how lucky he was and how beautiful she was. It seriously was so sweet. I’ve known Kate’s mom, Becky, for 13 years now. She looked absolutely beautiful as well on their wedding day. She was just taking everything in and she had told me how amazing it is when a man loves your daughter as much as Brad loves Kate.

June 4th is not only Kate and Brad’s wedding day but it was also Kate’s parents wedding anniversary! Kate’s bouquet paid homage by having lace from Becky’s gown as well as the pearls her grandmother wore on her wedding day.

I loved seeing Sam and Abbey (best main and matron of honor) again. I had the honor of shooting their wedding a few years ago and now they are expecting a baby.

There were so many beautiful details that made up their day. Those are some of my favorite things to photograph. So much time and preparation is put into them and I love to preserve them!

Their first dance was fun. They sang it to each other loud and proud. Kate’s dad had a picture of Kate dressed as a bride for Halloween many, many years ago that he showed her during their first dance. It was such a sweet moment!

There was a beautiful sunset at Old Hickory. We all jumped in the golf cart and headed to the lake to catch the gorgeous sky!

Thank you Kate and Brad for allowing me to be a part of your special day. I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon and wishing you guys a lifetime of happiness!

Enjoy a few snapshots of Kate and Brad’s wedding.

Main Street Saint Charles | Saint Charles Wedding Photographer | Megan & Christopher

I have the adorable Megan and Christopher’s wedding on the blog today!

Megan and Christopher tied the knot at the courthouse so we grabbed a few shots of them and their family in Frontier Park after their ceremony. I loved that Megan wore blue. It’s not something you see everyday and I love when couples make their day exactly the way they want it.

We had some things to contend with during their shoot like a giant snake in our way as well as the cotton trees snowing their “allergens.” It was seriously everywhere and it was actually accumulating on parts of the ground like snow. It made for some itchy eyes but it did look like snow in June which was kind of cool.

Enjoy a few snapshots from Megan and Christopher’s wedding day.

Saint Charles, MO | Family Photographer | Dalton Family

The adorable Dalton Family is on the blog tonight. Meet Christy, Kevin, Patrick and Emily.

I’ve known Christy for many years now. We’ve taught together, were pregnant at the same time (our daughters are two weeks apart) and now we are dance moms together.

Emily was all about the camera and was excited to try to pick spots in the park for her pictures. ┬áPatrick… not so much. He was a tad on the ornery side which is something that I have NEVER seen before!

Enjoy some snapshots of the Dalton Family session!

I love them Holly! I guess Patrick did eventually smile.

Old Stone Chapel | Saint Charles, MO Wedding Photographer | Lindsay & Kyle

So excited to have Lindsay and Kyle’s beautiful wedding on the blog tonight. Lindsay was such a gorgeous bride. She definitely had that radiant bridal glow. I was infatuated with her gown. It was so stunning! It had pockets too so it was seriously amazing.

Kyle and Lindsay decided on doing a first look before their ceremony. They were so excited to see each other. The look on Kyle’s face was precious when he saw her. You could just see how much they loved each other.

It had been raining for days leading up to their wedding and everything was so swampy outside. We had to be so diligent not to ruin those gorgeous gold shoes. Ironically Kyle’s mom wore the same pair in silver (it was not planned either). We barely beat the weather doing outside pictures too. It started to storm just about the time we got back inside for the ceremony.

Their ceremony and reception were both held at Old Stone Chapel.

Their ceremony was so personal and their vows were so sweet too. Thank you for letting me be a part of your very special day. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness and love!
